Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 June 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, disclosed, and otherwise processed when you access fartos.dev, interact with BUTTFART_OS, use any autonomous agent features, download materials, submit prompts or messages, interact with $Buttfart, or engage with related public channels, including https://x.com/bfos_framework (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Platform, submit content, connect wallets, interact with contracts, or provide any information through the Platform.
2. Information We May Collect
The static portions of the Platform can generally be viewed without creating an account or intentionally providing personal information. However, ordinary technical information may be processed automatically by hosting providers, infrastructure providers, analytics or log systems, security systems, and browsers. This may include IP address, user agent, device information, browser type, referring URL, request path, timestamps, approximate location derived from network data, and error or performance logs.
If you use interactive features, such as agent chat or prompt submission, the Platform may process nicknames, conversation identifiers, message content, prompt content, generated responses, timestamps, rate-limit metadata, and derived operational data such as memory counts, signal counts, or moderation outcomes. You should not submit secrets, private keys, wallet seed phrases, personal financial information, government identifiers, passwords, or any content you are not authorised to share.
If you interact with $Buttfart or any related blockchain interface, public blockchain data may be processed or displayed, including wallet addresses, transaction hashes, token balances, transfers, burns, swaps, approvals, timestamps, and other on-chain metadata. Public blockchain data is, by design, public, persistent, and outside the unilateral control of the Team.
3. Local Storage, Session Storage & Cookies
The Platform may use browser storage for basic functionality. For example, agent chat may use sessionStorage to remember an in-progress conversation identifier for the duration of a browser session. This is used to resume the visible chat state and is not a guarantee of long-term account identity or recoverability.
The Platform does not require an account to read the static website. Third-party services, embedded resources, browser extensions, hosting providers, or linked sites may use their own cookies or storage mechanisms, and such activity is governed by their respective policies.
4. How Information May Be Used
Information may be used to operate, maintain, secure, debug, monitor, improve, and display the Platform; provide interactive agent features; process submitted content; enforce rate limits; detect abuse, spam, or malicious activity; respond to errors or support requests; comply with legal obligations; and preserve the integrity of the Platform and related infrastructure.
Submitted prompts, messages, and other User Content may be analysed by automated systems, model providers, moderation tools, logging systems, or operational workflows in order to generate responses, improve behaviour, identify signals, prevent abuse, or demonstrate the Platform. Do not submit anything confidential unless you are comfortable with that content being processed by server-side systems and relevant third-party providers.
5. Third-Party Services
The Platform may rely on third-party infrastructure and services, including hosting providers, database providers, model/API providers, blockchain RPC providers, wallet software, decentralised exchanges, analytics or logging providers, and social platforms. These third parties may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
The Team does not control Solana, wallet providers, decentralised exchanges, X, model providers, browser extensions, or third-party infrastructure. Interactions with those services are at your own risk and may result in public, persistent, or independently retained records.
6. Public Blockchain Data
Blockchain transactions are public and generally cannot be deleted, modified, hidden, or reversed by the Team. If you use a wallet to interact with $Buttfart, your wallet address and transaction history may be visible to anyone and may be correlated with other activity by third parties.
You should assume that all on-chain actions are permanent and public. The Team cannot erase or anonymise public blockchain records, even if you later request deletion of related off-chain information.
7. Retention & Security
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operational, security, legal, audit, debugging, abuse prevention, and backup purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the systems involved.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures may be used to protect information, but no website, blockchain system, database, wallet, model provider, or internet transmission is perfectly secure. The Team does not guarantee that unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, downtime, or compromise will never occur.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection with respect to certain personal information. Such rights are subject to applicable law, identity verification, technical feasibility, legal exceptions, and the nature of the relevant systems.
The Team cannot delete public blockchain data, records held by third parties, content you have made public, or information that must be retained for security, legal, operational, or abuse-prevention purposes. You can reduce future collection by not using interactive features, not submitting User Content, not connecting wallets, clearing browser storage, and leaving the Platform.
9. Children, Restricted Users & International Use
The Platform is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. Do not use the Platform if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law, sanctions rules, platform restrictions, or local regulations.
The Platform may be accessed internationally. Information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to such processing to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. Changes are effective when posted on the Platform unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acknowledgement of the updated Privacy Policy.
